Ayala Ayala Avenue did a standing ovation as she passed by her way from La Salle Greenhills to Manila Cathedral. All walks of people rubbed each other's shoulders and embrace the striking heat of the sun and cold rain. Once again, she united us Filipino people.
We are now to tilt another page of history, the world have witnessed the death of the mother of democracy. A grieving wife in 1983 came into public, that i was not able to witness. A woman who stood up and sacrificed herself for the Filipino people, following the footsteps of her heroic husband. In August 1, 2009 her fight with colon cancer has ended- twenty days prior to celebrating the 25th anniversary of her husband's death. Thankful i am for this to witness , the crowd of Filipino people showing their love for the late president. Unlike in 1986, love overpowered and not anger. Filipinos truly are worth it.
Thanks Tita Cory!
